There are plenty of lifeguard jobs available to be filled up especially during summer days. These jobs are offered in numerous public and private places such as at the beach and swimming pools. If you are a student and you need to find a part time job that rewards you with lucrative returns, this is the right type of job for you. Make sure that you are fifteen years of age or more when applying for the job. It is also vital that you have completed the special training course for at least thirty hours which in return gives you the appropriate certificate.

So far there are basically four types of lifeguard jobs available on the market. These are the conventional type which requires you to be present at the specific location, i.e. a swimming pool area. If you apply for the position of a waterfront guard, you will be requested to work in other places apart from swimming pools such as open lakes, rivers and non-surfing areas.

If you are interested to work as a water-park guard, this means you will be working in water parks and special attraction places including in conventional swimming pools. Last but not least, working as a shallow water attendant requires you to give your service to places that are only four feet deep or below.
