Move Wheelchair with Mind Power

A group of scientists claimed to have found a way to run a wheelchair using only the power of the mind.

A wheelchair had been created by a Japanese automotive company, Toyota, through research funded by involving a group of scientists.

To move the wheelchair, the user must use a special headgear that has been linked with a machine connected to the brain (electroencelograph machine). Later, the machine will read the signals from the brain to then be translated into a movement, through the integrated kommputer assistance with wheelchairs.

“Users no longer need the help of others to push a wheelchair. Just by thinking about what to do with the wheelchair, the chair itself that will do what you want. To the right, left, forward, backward. To stop, users simply moves his/her chin down, “said the Toyota.

The researchers from Toyota added wheelchair has a 95 percent accuracy of the motion response. They hope this technology can be used for purposes that support the medical rehabilitation of wheelchair users, both physical and psychological.

According to Toyota, this chair is a mind reader device with a quick response. This device has the ability to translate thought into motion in time format milisecond 125. Very much compared to the same technology in a different device, the ability to reach the 7-second response.
